2023: Product Announcement

On June 7, 2023, Know Labs announced the development of the Bio-RFID Gen 1 device designed for non-invasive blood glucose monitoring in patients with diabetes mellitus. In the future, the solution is expected to help improve the quality of life of millions of people around the world.

Know Labs notes that traditional glucometers work on the basis of analyzing blood samples, that is, they require regular finger punctures. The new development eliminates this drawback. Bio-RFID Gen 1 is a portable research laboratory for collecting and analyzing patient status data. Due to its small size, the device can be constantly carried with you and measured at a convenient time and anywhere.

Bio-RFID Gen 1 Glucose Monitoring Device

Bio-RFID Gen 1 is a software and hardware complex based on a special radio frequency sensor. The applied artificial intelligence algorithms are said to provide accurate predictive diagnostics with an indicator of more than 95%. In addition, the device does not require consumables, and therefore its operation will be cheaper compared to conventional invasive glucometers.

The collected values ​ ​ can be sent via Bluetooth to a smartphone. Users will get a visual idea of ​ ​ the fluctuations in blood glucose levels and will be able to share this information with their healthcare provider, who, if necessary, will be able to prescribe a new course of therapy or monitor the current treatment.

It is noted that leading world specialists in the field of mechanics, electrical engineering and software took part in the creation of the product. In addition to glucose monitoring, other applications are being considered for Bio-RFID technology, in particular, hormone tracking.^[1]
