2023: Allocation of 1.1 billion rubles for equipping the clinic
1.1 billion rubles were allocated to equip the Mordovian blood transfusion station. The press service of the government of the republic announced this on June 7, 2023.

On June 7, 2023, at a meeting with the head of Mordovia, a project was discussed to create a center for collecting and storing blood plasma on the basis of the Mordovian republican blood transfusion station. Zdunov stressed that the participation of Mordovia in this project was supported by the head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency Veronika Skvortsova.
Within the framework of the concept of increasing blood plasma procurement, which is being developed by the agency, 85 regions were considered, - said First Deputy Prime Minister of Mordovia Galina Lotvanova. - As a result, 22 subjects of the Russian Federation were selected. Then, after a detailed audit, only eight regions got into the project. |
Under the conditions of sanction pressure, the agency has developed a concept for the development of blood plasma procurement necessary for the domestic pharmaceutical industry. The concept involves increasing plasma procurement by 2024 to 600 tons, and by 2030 - to 1800 tons. Mordovia became one of the regions participating in the social project "Aggregator of anti-crisis management solutions in the field of blood and bone marrow donation." The goal of the project is to replenish the Federal Register, the development of free donation of blood and its components.
According to the press service of the government of Mordovia, plasma is an indispensable source for the production of medicines that are used in the treatment of many diseases - such as immune deficiency, neurological, infectious and autoimmune diseases, heart failure, asthma, bleeding and hemophilia.[1]
