2023: Appointment as Head of Murmansk Sea Fishing Port

On June 8, 2023, it became known about the appointment of Alexander Gromov as the new Director General of the Murmansk Sea Fishing Port (MMRP), which was nationalized a few months earlier - 100% of its shares were recovered in favor of the state because of its strategic importance to ensure the country's defense and state security. The port management tried to appeal the decision, but to no avail.

According to Interfax with reference to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL), an entry on the appointment of Alexander Gromov as the new general director of the Murmansk Sea Fishing Port appeared in the register on June 7, 2023. The reception of the MMRP confirmed to the agency that the fish port team was informed on June 8, 2023 about the change of the general director.

The nationalized Murmansk fishing port was headed by a former official of the Federal Agency for Fishery

On the website of the MMRP there is a message dated May 30, 2023, which states that on May 25, representatives of the Federal Property Management Agency and the Federal Agency for Fishery, employees of MMRP JSC were presented with a new general director, Alexander Gromov.
