2023: Product Announcement

On June 19, 2023, it became known about the creation of Red Software database management system (DMS) for distributed storage of user and business data for web applications and large systems with SQL access. The product was named "Red Quantum."

According to the developers, the platform is suitable for use cases related to the processing of transactional and analytical information in real time:

• Caching - Increases throughput and reduces load on the relational or NoSQL database and application
• analytics and storage of data in memory for collection, processing and analysis, is used in social networks, advertising targeting, personalization;
• storing sessions and managing related information for Internet applications, including games, Internet commerce sites, and social media platforms;
• Create and support high-performance chat, comment feed applications
• machine learning - scenarios where decision-making in a few tens of milliseconds is important: fraud detection, games and financial services, real-time advertising;
• streaming multimedia to millions of desktop and mobile users simultaneously, storing profile metadata, browsing history, data, and authentication tokens.

Red software created DBMS "Red Quantum"

"Red Quantum" is built on the code base of the open distributed DBMS Apache Ignite.

Unlike the community version of Apache Ignite, Red Quantum implements data compression capabilities, high-load performance improvements, monitoring tools and cluster management, the developers say. - This enables fault-tolerant storage and high computing performance.[1]
