MTS will provide health services of Komi with communication for remote transfer of the ECG

Within the innovation telemedicine project emergency doctors of the Komi Republic will be able to report the electrocardiograms received during departure to the patient, specialists of the diagnostic center for consultation and right interpretation of indications of the ECG. These measures will allow to define quickly and precisely a status of patients and to render the qualified emergency aid directly on site. Transfer of the ECG is performed from the electrocardiograph by means of mobile communication. Information arrives to the duty specialist in a hospital.

The project starts in October, 2010. At the first stage the MTS company will provide with communication for data remote transfer of 55 offices ECGs of health services of Syktyvkar. Within the second stage till October 24 the equipment of 57 more medical crews in other cities of the republic will be connected: 20 – in Ukhta, 23 – in Pechora, 14 – in Vorkuta.

Neo Company LLC – the Russian producer of the medical equipment of the Valenta trademark is responsible for a medical part of the project. "Neo company" already participated earlier in implementation of the similar project to Stavropol Territory and in Karachay-Cherkessia.
