According to the FAS, Microlife AG assisted in the investigation of the circumstances of the case, and also took the necessary measures to eliminate violations of the law, in connection with which the order was not issued. The company's fine will be imposed as part of the consideration of the administrative case, the regulator said in a statement.

The case against the manufacturer of medical equipment was initiated in February 2023. Then the FAS reported that the company sent buyers price lists with prices for subsequent retail sale to consumers. According to the antimonopoly service, at the direction of the manufacturer, the price of the devices should not have been lower than a predetermined amount. Wholesale buyers subsequently resold the devices to pharmacies, marketplaces and other retailers, the FAS said.

By June 2023, 44 models of tonometers manufactured by Microlife AG BP series were registered in Russia, including automatic and semi-automatic tonometers, as well as professional devices WatchBP Home and WatchBP Office. The holder of regional administrations is Yana Gennadievna IP Perminova.[1]
