2022: Automation of the production warehouse with LEAD WMS
LEAD WMS was implemented in VIRTEX FOOD's warehouse ahead of schedule and within the original budget. This was made possible by the system approach used by LogistiX in their projects.
VIRTEX FOOD has been in the enterprise market food industry since 2000. It is a technology manufacturing company, a market leader Russian in marinades for meat and sauces for cooking the Asian cuisine. The company's portfolio includes three actively developing brands: Kostrovok, Chim-Chim, Gurmix and more than 400 products.
VIRTEX FOOD decided to increase the efficiency of processes in the warehouse of raw materials and finished products and replace the current module warehousing with a modern scalable warehouse management system one and conduct it integration with the corporate information system used in the company. The choice of a WMS implementation partner occurred between six companies. The winner was LogistiX with the professional LEAD WMS solution, which surpassed competitors in terms of execution time, project cost and approach to project management.
The automation facility where LEAD WMS is implemented is located in the industrial zone of Berdsk, Novosibirsk Region. This is a modern class "A" warehouse with an area of 6,000 sq.m., which has no analogues in the city.
The introduction of the warehouse management system ensured accurate accounting, traceability and effective resource management. The customer has received comprehensive tools for change management and further modernization of the enterprise according to the PDCA methodology.
Thanks to the system approach used by LogistiX, the warehouse automation project was implemented precisely in the agreed time frame, and some stages were closed at a faster pace. The project budget remained within the framework of the initial agreements. After trial operation, the warehouse quickly reached its planned capacity.
