2023: Purchase by Petrozavodsk-based company

The company from Petrozavodsk "AlkoWorld" bought the Perm alcohol plant of Amber Permalko JSC from the Latvian Amber Beverage Group. The corresponding permission in June 2023 was issued by the Government Commission for Control over Foreign Investment in the Russian Federation. The amount of the transaction in the company did not disclose.

Permalko is one of the oldest alcohol manufacturers in the Urals. Amber Beverage Group has been included since 2018. The company's production volumes are over 1.8 million decaliters of alcohol per year. The company is one of the region's major taxpayers. By June 2023, Amber Beverage Group also owns a plant in Tambov in the Russian Federation - Amber Talvis JSC.
