2023: Software and hardware complex of the subsystem for monitoring transport flow parameters

On June 28, 2023, RuSat Infrastructure Solutions JSC announced that it would deploy a software and hardware complex in Belgorod for monitoring the parameters of the transport flow of the Belgorod agglomeration. The project is designed to optimize the efficiency of the road complex management, convenience and road safety. It will provide monitoring of traffic flows, as a result, online, the administration will be able to receive information about the transport situation in the Belgorod agglomeration. The work of this stage will be completed in September 2023.

According to the company, the subsystem for monitoring transport flow will be part of the Intelligent Transport System (ITS), which is already operating in the Belgorod agglomeration. During the work, 74 detectors will be installed and connected to ITS. They will recognize the state sign and the fact of travel of each fixed vehicle, transmit data to other subsystems of ITS. Detectors will help analyze traffic on the roads of the agglomeration. The equipment included in the transport detectors has an Ethernet information interface with support for TCP/IP protocol for integration with the existing ADMS and ITS system.

The implementation takes place on the basis of a contract concluded between the Municipal Budgetary Institution "Belgorblaguserstvo Management" and Digital Platforms and Smart City Solutions JSC, which is part of the RIR management loop.
