2024: Kubernetes Angie Ingress Controller 0.3.0 with added CRD
Web Server has released an updated version of the Russian solution for managing the traffic of containerized applications in Kubernetes Angie Ingress Controller (ANIC) 0.3.0. This significant update includes a number of key changes that will improve user experience and enhance product functionality. The developer announced this on March 22, 2024.
One of the main changes in ANIC 0.3.0 is the addition of support for the angie.software/force-ssl-redirect annotation, which allows the user to forcibly transfer an insecure http redirect to a secure https, this will fix possible ssl usage errors.
In addition, CRDs (Common Resource Definitions), such as Virtual Server, Virtual Server Route, TransportServer, Policies, were added to Helm charts in this version. Now users who use Helm can use these definitions in their projects, which greatly enhances the ability to configure a web server, compared to the standard Ingress resource.
Previously, ANIC was included in the register of domestic software (No. 20891 of December 29, 2023). This confirms the high quality and compliance of the product with local standards and requirements.
For March 2024, ANIC can be deployed as an Ingress resource on any Kubernetes platform. ANIC is based on the Angie PRO web server, which allows you to build secure scalable high-performance environments using a Russian solution with professional migration and support services in Russian.

Inclusion in the register of domestic software
The Russian The Angie cloudy Kubernetes Ingress Controller (ANIC) solution for environments entered the register of domestic software company on January 12, 2024. Web Server
The product record was entered in the register under number No. 20891 of December 29, 2023.
ANIC can be deployed as an Ingress resource on any Kubernetes platform, including Russian cloud platforms VK Cloud, Yandex Cloud, MTS (Containerum Kubernetes Service), Selectel and others. ANIC is based on Angie PRO, which allows you to build secure scalable high-performance environments using a Russian solution with professional migration and support services in Russian.
The main functions of ANIC are:
- Load balancing: ANIC supports traffic distribution across TCP, UDP, TLS, HTTP, gRPC protocols, which provides flexibility and smooth traffic transfer during application updates.
- TLS Session Termination: ANIC authenticates services and protects online transactions through TLS session termination.
- Flexible logging: ANIC allows you to configure flexible logging to control modern dynamic applications.
- Modification of response to requests: ANIC provides the ability to modify responses to requests at the HTTP balancer level.
- DDoS Anti-Attack Toolkit: ANIC restricts incoming traffic according to various criteria to protect applications from DDoS attacks.
- Advanced statistics and real-time monitoring: the ability to fully monitor the Ingress Controller load in real time, which allows you to manage configurations according to the load profile and comply with the full availability of services.
ANIC supports Virtual Server and Virtual Server Route resources as an alternative to Ingress Controller, allowing for content-based traffic sharing and advanced routing configurations. Additional Ingress Controller features are available through Annotations and the ConfigMap resource.
Angie Ingress Controller Presentation
The company Web Server"" on June 29, 2023 introduced the Angie Ingress Controller (ANIC) product. ANIC is one that software allows companies to effectively manage traffic on the network. Kubernetes ANIC can be deployed as an Ingress resource on any Kubernetes platform, including the Russian cloudy platforms,, (VK Cloud Yandex Cloud MTS Containerum Kubernetes Service), Selectel and others.
We are creating software that will replace those imported in Russia. There are two types of such software: system and application. System software is needed for computers and includes operating systems, programming languages, virtualization systems, etc. Application software is used to manage business processes, for example, 1C produces similar products. System software is used more widely because it does not depend on how users use it. For example, all computers need an operating system. Many companies, such as Ozon, Avito, Yandex, VK and others, use microservice architecture for their products. To do this, they use a container clustering system - Kubernetes. It uses Ingress Controller software to help route network traffic to the desired microservice. Our Angie Ingress Controller (ANIC) product is based on this technology and integrates with Kubernetes, "said Zaur Abasmirzoev, CEO of Web Server. |
