Sechenov University has begun a large-scale digital transformation, which it announced on June 30, 2023. As part of this project, the university began cooperation with Rostelecom. The partners intend to jointly implement the technological transformation of the university, combining the medical expertise of the university and the experience of Rostelecom in digitalizing business and the state.

It is noted that cooperation will be carried out in several areas, including the creation of tools for processing multi-format data, the formation of an infrastructure that ensures the uninterrupted and effective functioning of digital services, the development of a single standard for the quality of these services for all groups of users (from applicants to doctors and scientists) and the creation of an industrial laboratory of digital products, which will allow you to find and form popular market offers.

It is assumed that by 2025-2030. such cooperation will create the first digital biobank available for scientific and clinical activities, a library of digital models from the cellular to the organizational level, introduce a comprehensive data management platform and a unified information environment for students and employees of Sechenov University, as well as achieve uninterrupted and efficient operation of all digital services.
