On June 30, 2023, the Russian company Component announced the development of a Komar unmanned aerial vehicle designed for reconnaissance.
According to TASS, the drone weighs approximately 1.1 kg. At the same time, it is capable of carrying a payload weighing up to 400 g. The drone has a quadcopter architecture with four screws mounted on rods. A stabilization system is provided. At the same time, according to the developer, "Komar" is extremely easy to control, so that any special skills are not required to control its flight.
The drone is capable of speeds up to 120 km/h, and the flight range reaches 15 km. "Mosquito" allows the pilot to solve tasks that are assigned to devices such as FPV, or First-Person View, - "first-person view." Thus, it is possible to monitor the territory or objects from a bird's eye view. At the same time, stabilization means increase the efficiency of the task. For example, if a person accelerates or turns sharply, then the drone independently aligns the position, since it "understands" that such actions can lead to loss of control and fall.
The device is designed for reconnaissance, "Komar" can perform photo and video shooting, tracking, guidance. From other FPV-drones, which the pilot can overturn with an unsuccessful movement, it is distinguished by the ability to fly in a stabilized mode, - said representatives of the company "Component." |
It is also noted that to work with a drone, skills in building a flight mission are not required. In general, the drone is much easier to control and operate than similar aircraft already on the market. In fact, Komar helps the operator improve the efficiency of the task.[1]
