2023: Product Announcement

At the end of June 2023, at one of the exhibitions in Moscow, the modernized Vzor reconnaissance complex was presented, which is used in the military special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. The developer (his name is not disclosed) of the device calls him an alternative to reconnaissance drones.

According to the developers, the complex has a low price and is a disposable product. "Gaze" is easy to operate: the system is launched like an ordinary rocket launcher. The mass of the rocket launcher is 300 grams, length - 300 mm. The shooting height is 250 meters. The complex was adapted for storage and use in extreme temperatures - from minus 30 degrees.

The main feature is disposable. The complex flew away and that's it, its cost is significantly lower than that of reconnaissance drones from well-known manufacturers. Currently, our complex is successfully used in the SVO zone, - told TASS in the company that is developing this complex at the end of June 2023.

They also stated that by the end of June 2023, the Russian system has no analogues. Prototypes of such devices are being developed by a number of NATO countries, but have not yet been used, the organization noted.

Very often drones are used to direct or even drop small grenades and mines. Both civilian quadcopters, which can be found in the store, and more serious equipment are used. The effectiveness of such devices is noticeably different, but the main task of preserving personnel is achieved. According to experts, one of the disadvantages of custom quadcopters is that they work on open lines. This means that the enemy is able not only to intercept control, but also to determine the location of the operator, striking at the most unexpected moment.[1]
