Streaming server ON from Flussonic served as a solution for receiving television signals and converting them, thereby ensuring their preparation for further distribution over the cable (coaxial) network. The Flussonic Media Server solution was used in two versions:

• in the first case, the media server was deployed in each hotel as a head office, which implied its installation and operation in the form of a central node that receives television signals from various IP sources. Flussonic Media Server would then convert television signals and transmit them directly to cable networks;
• in the second, the solution is built around a single Caritech data center, which acts as a node for receiving and transcoding content using the Flussonic Media Server. From there, content is distributed to hotels, where it is received by a special device equipped with the Flussonic Media Server to be distributed over the hotel's cable network.

Caritech Solutions chose Flussonic Media Server for its 4-in-1 multifunctionality. The media server performs the functions of a switch, as well as IP, satellite and ground receivers. This allowed Caritech Solutions to optimize operations by reducing costs and saving space in the server rack.
