Education

In 1993 he graduated from the Ural Medical Institute with a degree in Pediatrics.

In 2009, he underwent professional retraining at Syktyvkar State University in the direction of "Management" as part of the Federal program for the training of management personnel for organizations of the national economy, at the Yaroslavl state Medical Academy under the program "Organization health care and Public Health."

In 2011, he underwent professional retraining at the Yaroslavl State Medical Academy under the program "Therapeutic Physical Education and Sports Medicine."

Career

1994-1997

Since 1994 - district pediatrician of the children's polyclinic of the Severnaya Medical Unit of the Vorkuta GULPPN, intern doctor of the Children's City Hospital of Vorkuta

Since 1995 - district pediatrician of the children's polyclinic of the City Hospital No. 1 in Vorkuta, acting deputy chief physician for polyclinic work.

Since 1996 - Deputy Chief Physician for Polyclinic Work of the City Hospital No. 4 in Vorkuta.

Since 1997 - chief physician of the City Hospital No. 4 of Vorkuta.

2008-2013

Since 2008 - Head of the city department of medical and preventive assistance to the population of the administration of the municipality of the urban district "Vorkuta."

After 2013 - chief physician of the state regional health care institution "Regional Children's Clinical Hospital" in Veliky Novgorod.

2015

At the end of October 2015, Dmitry Berezin was appointed acting Minister of Health of the Komi Republic.

2023: Appointment as Minister of Health of the Tver Region

At the end of June 2023, the Governor of the Tver Region Igor Rudenya signed a decree appointing Dmitry Berezin as head of the Ministry of Health of the region. Prior to that, Berezin served as Deputy Chairman of the Regional Cabinet of Ministers in charge of health care. Now he will combine the posts of profile deputy prime minister and minister.[1]
