Content

I-Jet publishes games of different producers and advances them on social networks. I-Jet is the most successful business such in Russia. Finam attentively looks at such companies, the head of Finam IT fund Alexey Basov says, but it is risky business — well matched venture: the company should adjust permanent start of games so that among them there were leading games bringing stable income. In advance to guess what will shoot, it is very difficult and these risks are considered at assessment of similar business, Basov summarizes.

Performance Indicators

The company gained fame in the spring of 2010 when it became clear that only one game — Happy Farmer in a year (since April, 2009) brought it $20 million However, a half of revenue the social network VKontakte which users strummed for this amount received. Then income from Farmer was 90% in i-Jet revenue, and now — only 5%, Kostarev claims, but does not open revenue.

In 2009 it made $9 million, and in 2010 there will be $15 million, told a source in the company. So at the end of 2010 well-known Farmer will bring less than $1 million. But i-Jet diversified income, having published 70 games and having extended them on 19 social networks worldwide, Kostarev says.

History

On October 11, 2010 it became known that i-Jet which earned from "The happy farmer" of $20 million conducts negotiations with several investment funds on sale of 25%[1]. The founder of i-Jet Alexey Kostarev so explained to Vedomosti need in the investor: funds for development, in particular on purchase of teams of developers in the different countries are required. 70% of the raised funds will go to it, and another 30% intend to Kostarev and his business partner Dmitri Choubin. Kostarev estimates i-Jet at $100 million.

Almaz Capital Partners looks narrowly at i-Jet, the managing partner of fund Alexander Galitsky confirmed. The company, according to him, interesting, but a question in as far as it will be able to provide that revenue growth which is promised by sellers. The platform for distribution — perspective business, it is possible to compare it to AppStore from Apple distributing applications of thousands of developers, Galitsky considers.

$100 million — too ambitious assessment for i-Jet, considers a source in the fund conducting negotiations with this company, he estimates it at $30-50 million. Own assessment is overestimated, it obviously goes taking into account future bidding, the manager of other fund agrees. If i-Jet saves growth rates and will adjust distribution of games in the western social networks, perhaps, it also costs $100 million, the founder of AddVenture fund Elena Masolova believes.
