2024: Improving the Efficiency of the Foreign Exchange Transaction System
Within the framework of the project, the IT company Castis (CUSTIS) has expanded the functionality of Gazprombank's currency control system, which has significantly increased the efficiency and level of automation of technological processes for the implementation of currency control. This was announced by Custis on January 16, 2025.
The system developed by Gazprombank on the 1C platform covers divisions and branches of the organization in most regions of Russia. And provides electronic document flow between clients and the bank in the field of currency control. It allows you to quickly inform customers about the status of document processing, automatically generate and transfer documents to remote banking systems. Bank employees ensure uninterrupted execution of the functions of the currency control agent.
The development of additional platform functionality has significantly improved process automation, reducing the number of manual operations in routine tasks and increasing the speed of information processing, including the preparation of daily reports. The solutions, new mechanisms and operating algorithms that Castis has implemented have made the system of controlling foreign exchange transactions more flexible and adaptive, which will allow the bank to respond faster to legislative changes and improve the quality of customer service.
In addition, within the framework of Gazprombank's project on import substitution and transfer of critical infrastructure to domestic platforms, Kastis specialists conducted reverse engineering on a number of existing system facilities, restored the description of business processes and technological procedures, and also compiled complete project documentation. This allowed us to restore logic and increase the transparency of business processes in a number of architectural solutions for the further implementation of projects to modernize the IT landscape.
This project to improve the efficiency of the foreign exchange control system is of particular importance for Gazprombank, - said Elina Lopatnikova, Executive Vice President - Head of the Foreign Exchange Operations Support Department of Gazprombank. - The introduction of technologies allows us not only to improve efficiency, but also to strengthen the independence of our infrastructure, which is especially important in the current environment. |
Our long-term cooperation with Gazprombank and extensive experience in the field of financial operations allowed the Castis team to quickly respond to the needs of the bank and offer solutions that meet its tasks as much as possible, - said Alexey Mikhailov, head of the project portfolio of the Financial Institutions division of Castis. - We worked with the bank's IT unit as a single IT team. The partnership approach made it possible to significantly reduce the time for the implementation of tasks and reduce labor costs on the part of the IT block of Gazprombank in terms of the functionality allocated to us. Based on our experience, I can say that this format of interaction today meets the challenges of large banks and significantly increases the efficiency of project implementation. |
