2023: Regional Representative of the Skolkovo Innovation Center

The seventh regional representative of the Skolkovo Innovation Center was Elena Ermolina, First Deputy General Director of the Business Development Center of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug JSC. The partnership will develop technological entrepreneurship in the region and an innovative ecosystem in the Arctic zone. The Skolkovo Foundation announced this on July 7, 2023.

The status of a regional representative will provide an opportunity to both develop the region as a whole and its individual components. NAO companies will have access to the services of the Skolkovo Innovation Center to support the commercialization of their technologies, integration into the technological chains of large business, entry into new markets and other advantages.

Elena Ermolina has extensive experience in working with the entrepreneurial community of the region, is the head of the investment project support department in the NAO, including residents of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation with a portfolio of 16 projects worth 200 billion rubles, the head of the management companies of the tourist and recreational and IT clusters of the NAO, including 123 participants, and is also a representative of the Innovation Assistance Fund since 2019.

The official representative of Skolkovo is a responsible and important role, involving painstaking work to solve a whole range of tasks aimed at building an innovative ecosystem in its region. I have been working with innovations in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug since 2019.
