In August, 2010 specialists of PMSOFT Group began works on formation of detailed scheduling and network project schedules of expansion of capacity of a pipeline system of Caspian Pipeline Consortium (the 3rd detail level) with the subsequent carrying out risk analysis and plan development of a risk response.

The scheduling and network diagram is the crucial integrating element of the general information space of the project. It is realistic the made and relevant project schedule becomes a basis for production planning, allows to exercise control of terms and cost of the performed works.

Use of scheduling and network diagrams allows to resolve the most part of the issues connected with resource allocation in time and space at the operational level of management. Upon transition to strategic planning horizon there is a need to glance in the future – the investment attractiveness of this project is how high. Without effective tool on management of project risks this task not to solve. Using this tool, the companies starting the project have an opportunity in time to reveal risks, to create and implement operating plans of reaction, to determine the cost and expediency of risk management, to build transparent and fair contractual relationship with partners.

Actually, the scheduling and network project schedules integrated with abilities to manage risks, constructed on the qualitative IT platform are the significant success factor of project activity.
