Content

In new five-star hotel Hilton Gelendzhik Resort and Spa which will open in the summer of 2010 implementation of the automated control system for Отель&СПА hotel based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 began.

Project Objective

Project objective is creation of effective ERP-of the system allowing to exercise full-fledged control of activity of hotel from the first day of acceptance of guests. Implementing solution on automation of hotel before its opening will allow to reach compliance of the high standards of business determined by a brand of hotel.

The existence of a possibility of accounting according to the Russian and international standards (USALI) caused by involvement of the international operator and also integration with the systems of the front office (PMS, POS) was the main selection term of a system. The choice for benefit of the solution "Отель&СПА" was influenced by the fact that the West Concept company could provide the most rapid implementation of a system – it took less than 2 months.

Project Progress

Short terms of input of a system in operation became possible thanks to application of methodology of "NAV Express" which assumes use of the standard Microsoft Dynamics NAV settings regarding RAS and lack of need of completions of the standard functionality which is contained in industry solution "Отель&СПА".

The detailed description of business processes and determination of tasks which need to be solved in a system became a preliminary stage of implementation of the ERP system in "Hilton Gelendzhik Resort and Spa". It is traditional practice of West Concept company in project implementation as it allows to define requirements to a system, critical parameters, functional filling, scenarios of accomplishment of actions, the description of forms of the procedural, operational, management reporting.

Within the project automation will affect accounting, settlement with suppliers and clients, an inventory control, production and calculation of cost value of restaurant, including functionality on conducting banquets, buffets, the reporting under sales. Process of formation of tax and procedural statements under RAS, financial statements on each division and on hotel complex in general will be also automated. Integration with the OPERA-FIDELIO PMS system and with the MICROS POS system, unloading of data from the old systems - 1C: Accounting and Excel registers is provided. In a system about 10 users will work at the same time.

Result

During implementation by specialists "The concept grew" program installation was made (without configuration changes), general options of a system and account policy are configured, the main reference books and the staff list are completed, payroll accounting is organized, training of employees in conducting personnel records and payroll in the program is provided, solution integration with an accounting hotel system is made.

Creation of the accurate and debugged information system allowing to conduct fully all business processes connected with personnel management became a project deliverable.
