Models are stored in the general repository of Oracle where it is convenient to control versions of objects. At last, Oracle Developer Suite supports XML for data exchange with other UML tools.

The repository for support of work of big groups of developers is provided in Oracle Developer Suite. It stores structured data as database objects, and unstructured - as files and XML documents. The repository allows to manage process of updating of versions of objects. A repository - the uniform source of metadata of applications ensuring effective parallel operation of groups of developers who can analyze dependences between objects control use of the general components; convenient means of work with a repository are provided: viewing archive of versions, control of dependences and configuration management. Oracle Developer Suite simplifies development and support of Web applications as contains a set of transferable JavaBean-components of the user interface which provide coordination of the interface and facilitate its setup and localization. Developers can use these components programmatically via API interfaces of Java or is declarative - means of the User Interface XML (UIX) language.
