The QlikTech company, software provider of a business intelligence (Business Intelligence, BI), announced at the beginning of October, 2010 that Autodesk company, the developer of automated design engineering systems and software for industrial design and show business, accepted the QlikView dashboards as the global corporate standard for solutions of a business intelligence.
Autodesk needed the system which is providing high high-speed performance and having the intuitive interface suitable for implementation in business processes of all divisions. As a result the company made a choice for benefit of QlikView that was caused by such features of the solution as the high level of scalability, availability of the intuitive interface, ease of use and flexibility. Corporate solution based on QlikView will accept data more than from 30 sources, to process them and to deliver useful information to all staff of Autodesk, says QlikTech.
The QlikView system will be unrolled in all representative offices of Autodesk. According to QlikTech, in 6 weeks after use of QlikView in different divisions of Autodesk (including trade and financial) 11 dashboards were applied and 30 more was developed; in parallel global strategic tasks at which solution the QlikView system could become the valuable tool were defined. Autodesk is going to consolidate in QlikView the data on clients and products which are saved up more than in 25 years stored now in the different systems, including in the systems of SAP that, as expected, will help to gain an impression about the additional strategic opportunities which are available for the company in the field of sales, customer service and increase in income.
