Transfer of a system to commercial operation is planned in November, 2010. The CEO Dmitry Dangauer became the initiator of implementation of electronic document management in the Russian Sea Group. At the initial stage it selected two directions of automation, the most significant for the company: office-work and management of contractual documents.
As an electronic document management system specialists of the Russian Sea Group selected the DIRECTUM system. Within the expanded presentation representatives of Akelon company integrator showed to the guide of the Customer that DIRECTUM is a full-fledged ECM system with the developed functionality and flexible configurations, capable to solve all assigned tasks. An important argument for benefit of DIRECTUM existence of the technology of implementation debugged by integrator allowing to complete the project within three months and also a possibility of further expansion of functionality of a system served as the Customer's forces.
The chief information officer of Russian Sea group of companies Alexander Filippov designated the following project tasks:
- transfer to an electronic form of processes of work with the entering, outgoing and internal documents;
- exception of "circulation" of paper documents in the company and, as a result, decrease in probability of losses of important documents;
- acceleration of passing of documents on divisions and economy of funds for supplies.
Increase in efficiency of the above-named business processes due to their automation will help to increase profitability and competitiveness of the Russian Sea Group.
Integration of the main reference books of the DIRECTUM system and the financial accounting system of 1C became one more task of the current project. The integration solution will also allow the Customer to publish documents from the DIRECTUM system on a corporate portal under management 1C: Bitrix.
Jobs of clerks will be equipped with scanners of barcodes that in total with DIRECTUM Rapid Document Identification technology (RapID) will allow to reduce labor costs by search of the electronic document in its paper copy considerably.
Further closer integration with 1C and also implementation of business solution "DIRECTUM will be made: Financial archive".
