2023: Presentation of the "Rat" complex

Holding Roselectronics"" State Rostec Corporation on August 14, 2023 presented a multifunctional mobile complex to combat drones "Rat." It includes: active radar, detection and suppression systems, UAV equipment for observation in zero visibility conditions.

The complex is available in two versions - with a directed laser destruction system, as well as equipped with cannon weapons with remote detonation of shells.

The "Rat" complex was created by specialists of the NPP "Istok" named after Shokin on the basis of the armored car SBA-70K4. On board is an active radar station (radar) capable of detecting birds-sized drones at a distance of 4 km. The detection and suppression complex, which is part of Rati, scans the air in automatic mode, recognizes and breaks the UAV control channels in a sphere with a radius of up to 1.5 km. In addition, a reconnaissance and survey optical-electronic complex for monitoring and controlling equipment in zero visibility conditions is installed on the car. In the modification of the complex with cannon weapons, a remotely controlled combat module with a 30-mm gun and a projectile detonation control system is used, which allows you to physically destroy targets at a distance of up to 4 km.

All equipment of the complex is integrated into a single intelligent on-board information and control system. The data from the detection and monitoring means are transmitted to the central control panel, the system processes the target parameters and offers the operator several options for further actions.

""Rat "is a unique complex capable of counteracting drones, including moving across rough terrain. The article is intended for protection of both stationary and movable objects. Its potential consumers are law enforcement agencies, as well as foreign customers, "said Sergey Sakhnenko, General Director of the United Instrument-Making Corporation (managing organization of the Roselectronics holding).

Other newest means of combating Rostec unmanned aerial vehicles include the Pishchal-Pro anti-drone gun from Roselectronics, one of the lightest drone suppression solutions on the market; the Serp-VS5 complex, which provides protection of the territory from UAVs, including from a swarm of drones, within a radius of up to 5 km; omnidirectional action complex "Dome," creating a protective hemisphere with a radius of at least 2 km over the object, inside which drone control is blocked.
