"Prior to the introduction of LEAD WMS, we used a different warehouse automation system, but it did not meet our requirements. I had to prescribe regulations for individual operations. The result of the launch of the pilot project with LogistiX was an increase in the quality of processes, a noticeable increase in the speed of operation of the warehouse and a decrease in the number of errors, "said Zhanna Tereshko, curator of the WMS implementation project at AvtoContinent.

In the process of finding an automation system, the company focused primarily on the proposals of domestic developers, as well as on the presence of positive sales experience in Russian companies. Additional criteria were the ability to scale and integrate with automated warehouse equipment.

"The involvement of project teams in the process is one of the key factors in the success of such projects. Here we saw the complete immersion of AvtoContinent employees in tasks, especially at the stage of developing warehouse business processes, which helped to ensure a high level of automation and maximize the use of LEAD WMS functionality. Our specialists support the work of the system, promptly reacting to feedback from partners, "emphasizes Maxim Menshikov, Development Director of LogistiX Group of Companies.

The AvtoContinent warehouse in Tver operates a large assortment of products in several tens of thousands of SKUs. Storage on it is organized according to the cell type. The specificity of the site consists in the high intensity of processing of the goods. As part of the transition to LEAD WMS, the main task was to smoothly adapt the process. The warehouse was 99% prepared for launch: staff, including storekeepers, operators and support employees, mastered the innovations in a short time. A week after the launch, the site was able to organize independent work and process management.

According to the customer, thanks to LEAD WMS, it was possible to completely switch from selecting goods by sheets to radio terminals. As a result of the modernization, the movements of storekeepers were significantly reduced due to the optimization of routes and the quality of selection improved. Each stage of warehouse operation (acceptance, assessment, recruitment, inventory, shipment and inspection) is automated.

The implemented system allows you to track the performance of the warehouse, monitor the effectiveness of processes and KPIs of employees and helps you make balanced management decisions. Scaling of modernization measures to other divisions of the company will make it possible to develop a unified system of motivation for personnel and develop a KPI system.
