2022: Implementation of the 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2 solution

Perm National Research Polytechnic University, founded in 1960 as Perm Polytechnic Institute (CDP), has gone through a development path that embodies important stages of transformation and growth.

The story began with the unification of the Perm Mining Institute, created in 1953, with the evening engineering institute. In 1992, PPI turned into a technical university, receiving the status of a polytechnic university in Russia. This stage was a milestone in its history.

Since 1996, the university began to implement multi-level training in higher professional education programs. The first masters were released in 1998, having mastered knowledge in the fields of Metallurgy, Applied Mechanics and Environmental Protection.

A further step towards a leading role was taken in 2009, when the university was granted "national research university" status. Within the framework of this status, priority areas of development were determined: aircraft engine building and gas turbine technologies, mining and processing, and oil gas , minerals as well as the nanoindustry and urban studies.

Continuing its path to innovation and scientific achievements, the university was renamed in 2011 into the Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNIPU). The name became a symbol of his desire for advanced research and outstanding educational achievement.
