Holding "Roselectronics" of the State Corporation Rostec on August 15, 2023 for the first time presented a multifunctional mobile radar station. It can "see" small objects, including small drones, as well as surface and radio transparent targets. Weight up to 25 kg allows you to use the station on any medium, as well as as as part of foot control groups.

The portable radar was developed by the Rybinsk Instrument Engineering Plant (part of Roselectronics) on a domestic element base. The principle of operation is based on the Doppler effect and the processing of signals of moving objects or their moving parts. The station is capable of rotating screws to detect even stealthy UAVs that are in hang mode. In addition, the device can be used to search for ground objects - the radar detects a car at a distance of more than 10 km, and a boat or boat at a distance of about 6 km.

The station can operate efficiently even with multiple targets in the viewing lane, such as when the drone is near a flock of birds.

"The tests have proven that a portable radar can be used in conditions of dense urban development, for the protection of water areas, by patrol groups and is able to determine a miniature drone at a distance of up to 500 m.
