2023: Software Suite Presentation

At the Scientific and Educational Center "Security of Intelligent Cyberphysical Systems" (REC "BIKS"), NRNU MEPhI created software designed to process sound signals. This was announced on August 16, 2023 by representatives of MEPhI.

"Digital noise cleaning of distorted phonograms" is a software package that allows you to clear a noisy signal from various kinds of complex interference, such as a voice choir, that is, to allocate a hearing impaired or overlapping voice for recording. According to the developers, systems that exist as of August 2023 and operate automatically can only remove "weak" voices and highlight "strong."

The development of NRNU MEPhI allows not only to highlight the voice "in the background," but also to improve its quality - for this, scientists have created a special algorithm for restoring the harmonic structure of human speech, working if at least some speech harmonics are known. For example, for the first two low harmonics having the highest intensity (they are in the range from 20 to 1 KgZ), you can use this software to restore all speech and give it naturalness.
