The MTS RED GOST VPN communication channel encryption service passed the assessment of compliance with Order of the FSTEC of Russia No. 17 of the 11.02.2013 on approval of requirements for the protection of information that is not a state secret contained in state information systems (GIS), according to the third class of security. Thus, the service confirmed that it does not violate the process of ensuring the confidentiality of information in GIS when performing cryptographic protection of access channels. This was announced on August 16, 2023 by representatives of MTS RED.
