The general infomration on the project

Implementation of the modules Global-Salary (payroll and taxes) and Global-HRM (personnel management) in group, afillirovanny JSC Nevskiye konditery began in the second decade of July, 2007. At the same time the difficult task was set for the system integrator (Business of Technology company): automate payroll on confectionery production (the few less than 1000 employees) for the shortest term in August to pass to commercial operation of a system.

It was connected with the fact that the previous (replaced) information system of payroll calculation ("Parus 4.5"), became outdated and was not supported, without allowing to calculate holidays, temporary disability benefits and on child care, according to the legislation updated in 2007.

The group which is turning out confectionery products under the famous brands "North" and "Metropol" integrates about ten different legal entities of different forms, but first of all system implementation of Global was begun in OOI "Polar bear", the confectionery plant which is turning out all volume of products of these famous brands.

Key features of the project

Deadlines of start of a system became the main feature of the project as much as possible. At the same time tasks which were solved during implementation were very difficult as it always happens at automation of large-scale productions to the big number of employees.

Less than in one month, thanks to professionalism of consultants of Global and support of the management of the enterprise were made:

  • Audit and adjustment of databases of HR department and settlement accounting (check of correctness of data before their import to the Global system); According to the proposal of business consultants of Global the organizational chart of time keeping was changed that allowed to keep the automated time keeping per every day on each employee, printing sheets at once from the Global system;

  • The complex problem of correct calculation of holidays and benefits of the Social Insurance Fund (sick-lists, child care leaves and so forth) in a situation when the changed procedure of payments required information which was not stored in a due type in the previous system (in the substituted system maintaining time keeping and detailed accounting of absence of workers was not performed) is solved;

The period of implementation matched time of "mass leaving in holidays" and automatic calculation of holiday payments noticeably unloaded the employees of settlement accounting forced to calculate before holidays actually manually. The successful solution of these and other tasks of the course of the project allowed to transfer since August, 2007 both system modules of Global (Global-HRM "Personnel Management" and Global-Salary "Payroll") on confectionery production "North" (OOI "Polar bear") to commercial operation.

Perspectives of the project and integration of a system

Successful example of integration of the Global-HRM system with the ACS systems (for example, integration with electronic tourniquets at Vyborg Shipyard) allowed to start as one of perspectives of the project integration of the ACS system of confectionery production "North"(PERCO and the Global system which is already brought since August 10, 2007 into commercial operation (modules HRM and Salary).

Except automatic synchronization of information on employees, their photos and admissions, it is also supposed to automate completely accounting and calculation of a free power supply of employees of the enterprise. For this purpose in the dining room of confectionery production magnetic card readers are already installed, and in the Global system the necessary functionality and settlement procedures allowing to calculate the amounts of a power supply depending on quantity of lunches of employees in a month are created.
