QAD 2010.1 EE

ERP system of QAD Enterprise Applications (MFG/PRO) has two delivery packages: Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition. The packet of Enterprise Edition contains the powerful and multifunction block of corporate finances (QAD Enterprise Financials) which is intended for the enterprises of corporate scale.

In September the QAD corporation released QAD Enterprise Applications 2010.1 Enterprise Edition (QAD 2010.1 EE) – the new version of the ERP system in a corporate delivery package. In the course of creation of this product QAD closely interacted with the clients representing the different industries better to understand requirements to release. Finally all sets of the solutions entering the ERP system differ in the best visualization, transparency of processes, speed of implementation, functionality and convenience of use now. Key changes:

• modulbusiness Intelligence ("Business intelligence") supports new analytical opportunities. It, together with new metrics and the toolbars, allows to achieve bigger transparency of information at the enterprise in real time
• the QAD Process Maps tool ("Cards of business processes") is updated there is a graphic display of a business model of the company which allows users to move between different processes
• the module Fixed Assets ("Fixed assets") allows the enterprises to manage better now fixed assets from purchase before write-off and also to keep their account
• upgrade of the modules Warehouse Management (Management of warehouses) and Enterprise Asset Management ("Enterprise asset management") allows to achieve "lean" and effective production at all enterprise
• the module Customer Management ("Customer management") allows producers to manage more effectively order processing and shipments, accelerating a response to addresses of consumers
• system deployment mechanisms as On Premise (locally, in the organization), and on the On Demand model are updated ("on demand")
• it is updated modulqad by Supply Chain Portal ("The portal of a supply chain") known as QAD Supply Visualization ("Visualization of deliveries"): it is the portal on the basis of the web interface where the companies in real time communicate with the suppliers about requirements and receive their responses
