Bakhetle (IT infrastructure)

In Bakhetle supermarket chain specialists of IBS company created failsafe infrastructure. The cluster solution of Sun ensures functioning of a corporate information system of SAP ERP and also implements IT services on its basis for shops of network. The Bakhetle trade production company integrates under uniform brand 15 of product supermarkets, ten of which are located in Kazan, two - in Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny, three – in Moscow.

In 2008 in Bakhetla the ERP system implementation project on the SAP platform was implemented. At the first stage of the project with the purpose of infrastructure support of start of ERP the "transitional" set of the equipment was provided. Further supply of equipment is executed and the final decision is deployed, its testing for fault tolerance is implemented. After that together with SAP consultants migration of SAP ERP on the new infrastructure platform is carried out.

The project is implemented in two months. In a year after the beginning of operation expansion of systems capabilities is executed: one more disk array for increase in disk space is added, settings of systems for redistribution of loading between two disk arrays are made.

As a part of the solution: Sun Enterprise M5000 and T5120 servers, Sun Solaris 10 OS, cluster Sun Cluster software, two Sun StorageTek disk arrays (tm) 6140, tape library Sun StorageTek SL500, backup system of Sun Enterpise Backup Software.
