Stimulsoft Reports 2010.3

In general the line of Stimulsoft Reports includes report generators for .NET, Web, WPF and Silverlight. In the Stimulsoft Reports 2010.3 software products the feature for sorting of group is added according to the results of. To sort group following the results three new properties are added to GroupHeaderBand: SummarySortDirection is the direction of sorting according to a result, SummaryExpression is expression for calculation of a result, SummaryType is type of function of calculation of results.

At the first start of the designer of reports, it is difficult for developer to understand all properties of components in a property bar. For simplification of this task the concept of a configuration of a property bar is added. In total there are three configurations: basic, standard and professional. Depending on the selected configuration the amount of the displayed properties of components changes.

Stimulsoft Reports 2011.1

For expansion of functionality of work of reports in the new version RequestFromUser flag at variables is significantly finished. The previous version of the designer of reports for Silverlight did not give an opportunity to create reports by means of masters of reports. In the new version this omission is corrected. In the WPF version of the product Stimulsoft Reports.Wpf the new viewer of reports is available. This special version of a WPF viewer is intended for display of reports in XBAP-applications. A lot of work was carried out over utilities of import of reports from Active Reports, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services. This line includes the Stimulsoft Reports.Net, Stimulsoft Reports.Web, Stimulsoft Reports.Web for MVC, Stimulsoft Reports.Silverlight, Stimulsoft Reports.Wpf and Stimulsoft Reports.Ultimate software products which includes 5 above described products.

In the new version report generators support two new types of charts: Range and Stepped Range. Data of a schedule type allow to display band values of the chart between its initial and final values and also in the form of step, step-by-step area which is filled in the selected color.

The option of export of reports to HTML5 format is also added. It expands already considerable list of options of preserving of the constructed report (all well to 28 types of exports). Export to HTML5 is available from all viewers of reports.

The new Report Comparer utility is added. It is developed for comparison of two different reports. In it it is possible to see what components, data sources, business objects, variables are in one report and are absent in another. The new utility compares properties of components of the report and suggests to lead them to a uniform type.

Two new products for the mobile devices Stimulsoft Reports.WinRT and Stimulsoft Reports.Mobile are not a part of a line of Stimulsoft Reports, but are included in the structure of All-in-One of the solution Stimulsoft Reports.Ultimate. The products created based on HTML5 (Stimulsoft Reports.Mobile) and WinRT (Stimulsoft Reports.WinRT) of technologies have unusually rich tool kit for creation of reports. Products are intended for application developers who participate in creation of business applications for tablets, smartphones and who need to process and provide data in the best possible way. On April 24, 2014 it became known of a release of the new version of Stimulsoft Reports 2014.1 report generators from Stimulsoft company.

• The new version of the report generator is able to cipher an algorithm of AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) 256bit the PDF files created in Stimulsoft Reports. The PDF format has the built-in function of enciphering. It means that there is an opportunity to deliver on the document the password without which input it is impossible to make certain actions with the document: open, print, edit, etc. Enciphering can be executed by different methods which differ from each other in an algorithm and in key length.

In a product the encryption algorithm AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is used.

• Starting with version 2014.1, all line of Stimulsoft Reports report generators supports the Catalan, Basque, Galician and also British option of English. Together with it in products two new features - DateToStrPt and DateToStrPtBr are implemented. They serve for a date output as a copy-book in the Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese languages.

Stimulsoft Reports 2014.2

On October 30, 2014 the Stimulsoft company announced release of the version of Stimulsoft Reports 2014.2 report generators. From the most significant changes and improvements it is necessary to select optimization of speed of creation of separate components of the report, support of Crypto Pro and also optimization of editors of components.

Developers of the company increased the speed of creation of CrossTab-components on average by 20-30% and also optimized time of drawing of charts at a large number of data and considerably accelerated processing of RichText-components.

In the version of the products Stimulsoft Reports the completion concerning the electronic signature of documents when exporting reports to PDF is made. In Russia the national standard of formation and verification of the electronic digital signature is GOST P 34.10-2012 which is supported using MCIP (means of cryptographic information protection) of CryptoPro CSP. In version 2014.2, when choosing a digital key of a system of Crypto Pro for the signature of the PDF document, the digital signature is performed using an algorithm and conforms to the Russian standards.

The version of Stimulsoft Reports 2015.1 is released

On June 17, 2015 the Stimulsoft company announced an exit of release of the version of the Stimulsoft Reports 2015.1 report generator.

As a part of release support of JSON, the improved HTML5 designer of reports updated MCV Viewer with support of mobile devices.

In this version support of the JSON format for import of data tables to the report is added, in the supported XML data source there is now no need to specify the scheme ADO.NET DataSet as it was earlier.

The updated and improved designer of reports for HTML5 became important change. The subject in Office 2015 style was added, configuration of the designer for bigger convenience of creation and editing report templates is reviewed. Also in the designer the functions convenient to the menu and settings are added.

Stimulsoft Reports got expanded support of mobile devices - MVC Viewer completely supports now Touch-interfaces and all its functions can be used on any mobile devices.

Generation rate of reports by means of use of the scheme of caching and rendering of reports in several flows increased in Stimulsoft Reports of version 2015.1.

On October 14, 2015 Stimulsoft announced a release of the first version of the report generator for JavaScript. The product Stimulsoft Reports.JS represents a set of components which is not tied to any platforms and devices.

The Stimulsoft Reports.JS report generator incorporates all necessary for work with reports - a core of reports, runtime HTML5 designer and the viewer. Feature of a product - it does not require any server part - everything works at the client.
