2023: Automation of Resource Management
IT integrator "First Bit" comprehensively automated resource management in the company "LIIS Engineering Solutions" (hereinafter - LIIS) using its own products - "BIT: Construction" and "BIT. Finance." Both efficiency and manageability of the business have increased. For example, management reporting is now 3-4 times faster. This was announced by the First Bit on September 5, 2023.
Previously, company employees kept records in spreadsheets. Because of this, data processing took a long time and was poorly controlled. Important information was lacking to manage budgets and inventories effectively.
The BIT.FINANS system is now used to form the MDD and promptly monitor budget execution. The contractor's team from the office in St. Petersburg on A. Nevsky Square carefully modeled and set up mechanisms for reflecting actual data on various items: labor remuneration, inventories, production, projects. LIIS management has received analytical reports that allow you to respond to changes faster.
The product "BIT. CONSTRUCTION/Supply and Warehouse" made it possible to optimize the accounting of stocks and other elements of the company's business processes. The implementation team has finalized its functionality, while maintaining the logic of the standard solution. To ensure that the system meets the customer's requirements, a complete accounting model on test data was first launched.
The developers have added a Bill of Materials accounting document, and additional links have been created between the planning, purchasing, and inventory usage milestone documents. Additional reports and printing plates were also developed.
As a result, the solution "BIT. CONSTRUCTION/Supply and Warehouse" automated work with purchase requests for materials, logistics management, specification, inventory, counting surplus and shortages. There, the overspending of materials is also monitored, the analysis of the movement of material and technical resources within the enterprise, the execution of orders and payments to suppliers.
The calculation of employees' wages was implemented using the 1C: Payroll and HR Management program and a special Telegram bot. Managers note in the messenger the worked time of employees for each object, these data automatically fall into the 1S:ZUP, from where they are pulled up in BIT.FINANS for counting in the budget.
Automation has allowed LIIS to use material resources more efficiently. The cost of them was reduced by 25%. In addition, management has many useful reports and analysts that were not possible when accounting was kept in Excel.
