"Kaspersky's antivirus 5.0 for Clearswift MIMESweeper for SMTP" is delivered with the built-in mechanism of updates allowing to load new signatures from servers of Kaspersky Lab automatically or manually. It is important to note that Antivirus of Kaspersky supports the cluster and distributed configurations of network.

The functionality "Kaspersky's Antivirus 5.0 for Clearswift MIMESweeper for SMTP" includes verification of all messages in mail traffic and removal of all found malware in real time. Setup and solution management is exercised using the instruments of administration provided in Clearsweet MIMESweeper that allows to apply flexible security policy within the protected network – in particular in case application controls of MIMESweeper provide group processing rules of messages, such rules can be applied also to anti-virus check of mail correspondence.
