"Dress code" is a cross-platform software solution designed to assess the compliance of the appearance of an airline employee with the established dress code and corporate style through the analysis of images by a neural network.

2023: Presentation of the "Dress Code" Decision

The software solution "Dress Code" from "RIVTS-Pulkovo" is registered in Rospatent, which is assigned the number 2023667443. The developer announced this on September 7, 2023.

The digital service is based on the use of artificial intelligence. Thanks to this, the solution is able to effectively automate control over the compliance of the appearance of airline employees with the established dress code. The service allows you to determine the compliance of the employee's appearance with the rules for wearing FO, visualize the results of the assessment of appearance, identify and segment elements of FO and accessories, notify the manager for decision-making, store results, and generate reports. In addition, the product can be applied not only among airlines, as well as in airport activities in general.

RIVTS-Pulkovo shared the results of a survey in which the overwhelming majority of respondents (57%) indicated that they assess the compliance of the appearance of employees visually during the work shift. An almost equal share of respondents noted that the assessment also takes place visually, at the analysis of the shift (12%), at the pre-flight briefing (13%). About 40% are assessed at the meeting. Only 18% of respondents use photofixation and only 17% perform the assessment daily.

The importance of an innovative solution is that this will reduce many of the costs of airlines associated with controlling appearance compliance. The costs include: a decrease in the efficiency of employees, the human factor, which includes subjectivity, selectivity, irregularity, bias, omission of details, and as a result, the accumulation of latent discontent in the team.
