Transferred to IDGC of Siberia Asterosa of 30 thousand pieces of equipment and 250 business applications, including SAP ERP

Under management of Asteros about 30 thousand units of the computer equipment and more than 250 business applications are transferred. With increase in scale of the project key advantages of IT outsourcing – expense optimization, increase in transparency and centralization of management of works, costs and personnel will more brightly be shown.

To cut down non-core expenses, to increase quality of the provided IT services and to centralize management of development of IT in scales of all company, service of IT infrastructure of "IDGC of Siberia" was entirely transferred to outsourcing of Asteros. The project began summer of 2009 and is expected 3 years and became one of the largest in the Russian power. Within the signed contract of Asteros service and development of all IT assets in executive office of IDGC of Siberia, branches of the company (Altayenergo, Buryatenergo, Omskenergo, Chitaenergo, Khakasenergo, Kuzbassenergo distribution zone, Krasnoyarskenergo, the Gorno-Altaysk electric networks) and also in Tomsk Distribution Company was entrusted. Under management of Asteros 185 software tools (including business applications, technology, client and the server software) and also over 20 thousand units of the ADP and office equipment were transferred.

According to the results of the first year of joint work of the company signed the new, supplementary agreement for a period of a year. The document provides expansion of scales of the infrastructure serviced by IT almost for 50%: now specialists of Asteros will support about 30 thousand units of the computer equipment and more than 250 applications, including the ERP system of the enterprise on the SAP platform.

ADP and the IDGC of Siberia office equipment more than 120 specialists of Asteros are engaged in maintenance. They are responsible for audit of a status, service maintenance, repair and upgrade of all IT assets, development and implementation of recommendations about development of IT and also measures for decrease in operating costs.

"In a year which passed from the moment of agreement signature, the external service of technical maintenance registered and processed more than 25 thousand requests of users. We are happy that Asteros not only strictly observes the undertaken obligations for quality of maintenance, but even exceeds them – 98.99% of requests were fulfilled in time whereas under the terms of SLA the guaranteed indicator is 90%. On own experience we see that advantages of outsourcing are more brightly shown in large projects and therefore surely we expand cooperation with the partner who proved the reliability and high qualification", – Romanov Vladimir, the Chief information officer of "IDGC of Siberia" claims.
