2023: Product Announcement

In September 2023, Rostelecom presented an automated complex to protect the perimeter of industrial enterprises from unmanned aerial vehicles. The system was called "RT Attack."

As Kommersant writes with reference to the press service of the telecom operator, the presentation of the decision was held at an expanded meeting of the committee on digitalization and development of information technologies of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the region. Rostelecom explained that the complex instantly reacts to the invasion of drones, which are used for video surveillance, transportation or dumping of compact cargo. The company expressed its readiness to implement a turnkey solution at enterprises.

It is stated that after installation and configuration, the system operates in automatic mode, does not require maintenance and has a self-test function. Rostelecom also offers a mobile version of the Ataka RT complex, which the company positions as "a modern and reliable way to ensure safety from illegal UAVs when moving a convoy or personal transport." The Block is powered by a power supply or a mobile generator. The solution can be used to protect the air perimeter in areas of counter-terrorism operations.[1]

There are several options that can happen to a drone after it is detected by the RT Attack system. The complex is able to blind the drone, land it outside the territory of the object, prevent it from taking off or going along a given route and even return the device to the launch point. The reaction speed of the equipment is less than a second. The devices operate in a "friend or foe" mode and can withstand the attack of a whole swarm of unmanned aerial vehicles, "said Dmitry Lukoshkov, director of the Khanty-Mansiysk branch of Rostelecom.
