The "I2 CIS" company began works on system implementation of management of the warehouse EXceed WMS 4000 (Infor WM NG) in the distribution center of the Irkutsk company "Slata".
The distribution center, with a total area of 9328 sq.m., consists of two warehouses where about 3000 different descriptions of goods are stored. The railway stage for unloading of cars, the isolated zones for goods with special storage conditions is provided in a complex.
Equipment of warehouses a modern management system is caused by need of increase in level of storage of products, increase in turnover and supply effectiveness of retail stores, cost reductions and decrease in influence of "a human factor".
The project began with a week training course of a project team of the customer. It corresponds to the used technique of the project works GEM (Global Execution Methodology), ISO-certified - 9001:2000.
