2023: Device Announcement

In early September 2023, it became known that an unmanned robotic platform was created in Russia to evacuate wounded soldiers from the battlefield. The project was called "Bratishka."

We are talking about the creation of a specialized tracked vehicle with remote control. The machine has a length of about 120 cm and weighs about 200 kg. "Bratishka" is able to move around rough terrain, turn 360 degrees in place and overcome various obstacles.

He has a specific pressure on the ground five times less than a person. Can drive where people will not pass: deep snow, mud, swamp, - say the project participants.

The robot is capable of transporting loads weighing up to 150 kg. The range reaches 50 km, and the average speed is 10 km/h. Thus, the "Bratishka" can function for about five hours. The drone is equipped with armor that can withstand a machine gun bullet. In the future, the robot will receive a smoke screen system: this mounted installation will be able to throw up to eight smoke grenades at a distance of 10-12 meters.

The design of the "Bratishka" assumes that the wounded fighter will be transported by fiber in a special thick and durable suit. In real combat conditions, the developers say, it is not a fact that a soldier with a wound will be able to climb the platform itself. But in the future, it is planned to create a manipulator for the drone, which will allow you to save people unconscious. In addition, the tow truck robot will receive an intercom that will allow doctors to remotely communicate with soldiers and give advice.

The project is being implemented by one of the Kazan companies, the name of which has not been disclosed. It is assumed that it will produce 20-30 unmanned tow trucks for the military every month.[1]
