The Russian Navigation Technologies (RNT) company announced end of the first stage of the large project on system implementation of a GLONASS/GPS of monitoring and control Avtotreker in the Mongolo-Rossiysky joint mining and processing venture "Erdenet". Now 150 heavy-load dump trucks "BelAZ" and "KAMAZ", two locomotives and more than 150 units of motor transport and special equipment are connected to the Avtotreker system. In the coming months about 700 more vehicles will become objects of monitoring, and distribution of a system on all transport Erdenet park numbering over 3 thousand units of machines and special equipment is planned further.
System implementation Avtotreker in JV Erdenet began in 2010. At the first stage the dispatching center was created, the aircraft equipment and software allowing to control location and motion speed of the CU, fuel consumption, the number of the flights performed for change and also to keep account of trips is installed. Thus, the possibility of an addition of runs and a run by drivers and masters was excluded at once and, therefore, fuel consumption was cut. Also, also fuel plunders became impossible, idle times and queues near loading excavators were significantly reduced. Besides, a system, provided convenient statistics on the performed flights, the number of the transported mountain weight, operating time and idle time, the movement with a load and empties. As a result, already at the first stage of the project significant savings for the enterprise in general were reached, the intensity increased and economic indicators of the extracting and production processes improved.
Let's note that the basis of a monitoring system of transport of JV Erdenet was formed by the specialized solution "AT-Karyer" for the mining and construction enterprises. In this development of RNT the specifics of management of work of transport in career where in transit loads dump trucks make regular flights along a certain route are completely considered and their movements are closely coordinated to operation of other equipment (excavators, loaders, refuelers, locomotives).
As reported, the solution "AT-Karyer" was repeatedly approved in real projects that allowed to isolate and implement an optimal set of the key measures and indicators which are comprehensively characterizing efficiency of use of transport and parameters of cargo flows in the system of reports. So, in software "AT-Karyer" the special services allowing to calculate and analyze dynamics of the different sequences of events, such as movement empties to the place of loading waiting, loading, transportation of a load, unloading, filling are implemented, etc. Pi it a system allows to keep track automatically of coordination of the interconnected events entering magazines of different objects of monitoring (for example, the dump truck, the loader, the excavator and the refueler). Besides, software AT-Karyer allows to analyze individually for each car, the driver or change such parameters as fuel consumption, a total run for the period, stops, parking, etc. On all processes and indicators a system creates specialized reports which design and the contents is flexibly configured under tasks and specifics of the enterprise.
Within this project specialists of RNT performed the tuning of the module "AT-Karyer" which allowed to consider completely specifics of work of JV Erdenet, feature of control of transport and requirements to the reliability of the equipment, character and a method of information representation collected and processed in a monitoring system.

All this allows to pass to scaling of the solution which will give us full control over all transport".
