We began looking for an alternative to foreign products in the office software segment at the beginning of 2022. From February to April, the region tested "My MyOffice Private Cloud 2," and from May to August - "My MyOffice Mail 2." The pilot implementation showed that the solutions of the Russian IT company are safe, work stably, and their functionality meets the needs of civil servants of the Astrakhan region. I believe that the name "import substitution," which has long been familiar to us, does not fully reflect the essence of our idea. But the term "import independence" is more suitable, as it gives a more accurate meaning and our desire to be independent of imports, - said Alexey Nabutovsky, Minister of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Astrakhan Region.

Astrakhan region comprehensively and consistently switches to Russian office software instead of foreign solutions. So, in June 2022, all schools in the region, within the framework of the signed cooperation agreement, received free access to document editors from MyOffice, as of September 2023, civil servants of the region already use domestic solutions. In addition to creating a secure import-independent IT infrastructure in the region, the implementation of MyOffice software will lead to an increase in the efficiency of the regional authorities.
