Ozon on September 25, 2023 launched a service for sellers of autogeneration of video spoons using algorithmic machine learning. Sellers can upload photos and receive a small video to add to the item card.

Video spoons are an additional tool for sellers who use Ozon promotion. They attract the attention of users and allow you to stand out relative to other products. To simplify the process of creating such content as much as possible, Ozon launched a cover auto-generation service. The seller needs to select the appropriate photos, upload them to the platform and choose from many options for animated effects, and the service will independently generate a video.

Generation takes place using algorithms that are built on machine learning methods. Engineers from Ozon Tech use several models that determine the position and boundaries of the product, as well as analyze the color palette. This allows you to more accurately analyze photos and generate optimal animations for video spools.

You can create a video comment in the Seller's Personal Account in the section "Goods and prices - Editing media in the product card." By the end of September, the tool will be available to all sellers. The cost of one cover at the time of launch will be 300 rubles. The seller can test different animations and effects, and only pay for the one that he wants to add to the card.
