2023: Using the application "Inspection of wagons"
Digitalization of the car inspection process reduces the company's costs for support of rejection by 20%, and inspection time - by 65%. Such data on September 27, 2023 led project manager of the IT company UMNO.digital Alexey Bochkov.
These results were achieved when implementing the IT solution "Inspection of wagons" in NefteTransService, which made it possible to reduce the number of erroneously assigned rejects. As a result, they reduced repair and downtime costs, as well as reduced the time for inspection of cars. The thing about IT is that information accumulates in the application, employees no longer need to send photos to e-mail. The inspection time and coordinates are automatically displayed in the certificate.
Measurements and faults entered by the employee are supported by photographs and geometries. With the act and photos, it is faster and easier to disassemble the carriage and return it to the line. This algorithm allows you to quickly solve situations when you disagree with the results of the inspection.
Alexey Bochkov also noted that quality control has improved at the enterprise inspection. The application allows not only to identify the unreasonable transfer of cars to non-working park and challenge the results of rejection, but also change the type of assigned repair, choose cars for rent, resolve disputes with counterparties.

Analytics are available in the app that will allow companies to make decisions about rental of railcars and determine their suitability for a particular cargo. Users will be able to record the condition of the received equipment, avoid disputes about damage and reduce scope of claim work.
The application works in real time - the user logs in by phone number and enters the number wagon. On the screen "loaded" information: passport, picking lists, data on mileage, previous repairs and malfunctions.
