Information and Analytical Center of St. Petersburg buys IT equipment for 1.9 billion rubles

The St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center announced the search for a contractor for the supply of server equipment for the distributed regional center of the city's executive bodies. This was reported on September 25, 2023 by Vedomosti with reference to documents from the public procurement website.

The initial cost of the project is about 1.9 billion rubles. The contractor will have to supply the center with 14 servers with SSDs and 52 servers with Nvidia Tesla graphics cards. In addition, SpB IAC also needs 123 automatic data processing devices, three storage systems for them, as well as 57 switches of five different types. The equipment must be delivered no later than November 27, 2023.

Applications for participation must be issued before October 10, and on October 11 the contractor will be fulfilled.

The St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center is under the jurisdiction of the Committee for Informatization and Communications of St. Petersburg and is engaged in informatization of all spheres of the city's life.

St. Petersburg State Unitary Enterprise "St. Petersburg IAC" creates, accompanies and integrates information and information and analytical systems of the administration of St. Petersburg and its subordinate organizations. The projects of the center are public services, state archives, housing and communal services portal.

By 2025, critical infrastructure facilities will have to switch to Russian software.[1]
