2023: Scaling the Imredi OSA solution to half the network

In September 2023, according to the results of short-term testing, one of the food chains in Russia, Dixy, decided to deploy piloting of the Imredi OSA product to half of the company's stores. The application of Imredi OSA is aimed at ensuring the availability of goods on the shelf by identifying current and potential problems and their development by employees in stores. This was announced on September 27, 2023 by Imredi.

Imredi OSA - a product that appeared on the Imredi digital platform less than a year ago, proved its effectiveness on the Dixy network: in 3 months, when used in 100 retail outlets, the product repeatedly recouped the cost of the pilot due to "saved sales."

The main goals that Dixie set before starting the Imredi OSA quality check are to find a solution that will help:

  • Increase the availability of products on the shelf.
  • Reduce the amount of "frozen" funds by determining unsold products.
  • Increase RTO (excluding VAT) from 0.5% through the tool for working with OSA and subsequent development of tasks in the store.

These goals were achieved thanks to the use of Imredi's own ML prediction models, which take into account many factors. The forecast is made at the granular level in order to catch point effects in the environment of the outlet. Imredi specialists built business processes and collected feedback, regularly visiting the chain's stores, sought to take into account all the nuances and features of working "in the field."

All processes for working with tasks and goods in the store are based in Imredi OSA and other Imredi products on ML models, algorithms allow you to predict stocks, control calculations, quickly monitor top 50/100 goods, identify virtual runoff, - said Maxim Semirenko, Deputy General Director of Imredi.

There is no product on the shelf, a price tag or does not suit the service - the buyer will choose another store, and the retailer will lose profit. OSA signal processing is one of the painful and bottlenecks for any network. And the larger the company, the more outlets and their wider coverage, the more difficult it is to control the timeliness and quality of the calculations, quickly eliminate shortcomings and track system problems. Saved sales directly affect the growth of trade, Imredi OSA will provide its customers with an increase in RTO of more than 1%.

The best confirmation of this is the results that were obtained in just 3 months of active piloting of Imredi OSA in the Dixy trading network:

  • Sending up to 80-85% of reliable signals;
  • Increase of personnel involvement - about 95% of the discipline of signal development;
  • The increase in RTO relative to the control group (for August 2023) is 1.04%.
