In late September 2023, the Lawk One AR augmented reality smart glasses developed by Hong Kong startup Lawk debuted. The gadget has rich functionality, allowing, among other things, to receive navigation instructions, receive calls, give voice commands and record videos.
The device is equipped with replaceable UV380 lenses that block 99.9% of ultraviolet radiation. If necessary, dioptric lenses can be installed to correct vision. The case is protected from moisture and dust according to the IPX4 standard, and weighs approximately 80 g.
The glasses are endowed with a camera that makes it possible to shoot videos in a format 4K with digital stabilization for 15. 30 and 60 seconds. At the same time, the built-in memory is designed to store up to 70 minutes of materials. You can also take 8-megapixel photos. The camera is equipped with optics with a field of view angle of 120 degrees. Stereo speakers are built into the arms, which allows you not only to make phone calls, but also to enjoy music. The 150 mA·ch battery is said to provide 6 to 8 hours of battery life and takes about one hour to charge. Additional sensors, such as a heart rate sensor, can be used with glasses. The retail price of the Lawk One AR is approximately $500.[1]
