2024: Launch of the "ABC-rating" tool

X5 Group expands the analytical capabilities of the digital platform Dialog and launches a free tool for suppliers - "ABC rating." It allows you to obtain operational estimates of the PLU product portfolio for sales in rubles and units. The tool will be automatically available to all NDA Kh5 providers.

"ABC-rating" allows you to conduct an express assessment of goods in the portfolio by indicators of turnover in rubles (or units) per store and compare the dynamics with the previous period. The data is available over the network Kh5 as a whole, by territory of presence Kh5 and by federal districts of the Russian Federation.

The rating allows you to consider the product range in the context of three groups: leaders who bring 50% of turnover per day per 1 conventional store; medium products, which make up from 50% to 80% of the turnover; products that occupy the remaining 20% of the turnover. Based on the data obtained, the supplier can identify priority support products, identify sources of sales growth, or allocate goods for further assessment and development of measures for their development or withdrawal from the assortment.

A total of 340 companies became users of 8 Dialog products, including FMCG market leaders. Every year, suppliers upload more than 45,000 reports to address internal brand promotion challenges: from logistics to setting up advertizing campaigns.

As of May 2024, 250 suppliers Kh5 free tools already allow them to obtain data on sales of the category in the group's retail chains, conduct an operational assessment of goods in the portfolio, determine the target audience for promotion and estimate the amount of necessary support with segmentation.

2023: Implementation of the X5 DataBridge data acquisition system

X5 Group expands the digital platform for Dialog.X5 providers and introduces a system for fast and easy data acquisition. X5 DataBridge will allow a partner on its own IT resources not only to quickly generate all the necessary reports based on Kh5 analytics, but also to combine this with data from other retailers or data platforms. The company announced this on October 6, 2023.

The supplier does not need its own development to work with X5 DataBridge. It is enough to install the application on your computer and directly receive analytical reports. The software runs in the background, the reports are downloaded and updated automatically. The installation file and instructions for installing and configuring the application are provided to the vendor. Authorization is carried out by the user login and password provided during registration through the personal account. The software allows you to select a location for storing data, information is saved as files, or written to the user's database.

At the current stage of product development, reports are available to the user according to the selected Dialog.X5/Logistics or Dialog.X5/Insights product module. Kh5 plans to further expand the functions of X5 DataBridge. A convenient and intuitive interface allows you to look at the status of work, data flows and gain instant access to the full amount of information. The available reports contain the full range of data required for analysis: sales and trends of the category of purchasing behavior, completeness and time of delivery, requirements for goods from retail chains, availability of goods in retail outlets, changes in assortment matrices.

In the big data market, there are many options and channels for analytics consumption and more and more companies that take a data-driven approach in their operations. For hundreds of its post-workers and partners who actively use data, X5 Group has developed the X5 DataBridge tool. In fact, this is an application that is installed on a local computer or on a partner's server, which receives automatic integration out of the box with key analytical services from X5, primarily with Insights and Logistics, the company's flagship products. One of the features of X5 DataBridge is the ability to quickly connect to the tool of other data providers, which actually means for them the ability to start monetizing their volumes of information with minimal costs.
