RUSCAN migrates with TRIM-PMS on the full-scale TRIM platform

Closed joint stock company" RUSCAN", by means of consultants of" Spectec", transfers the information management system to a MRO with" boxed" the product TRIM-PMS to the full-scale TRIM platform, with increase in number of users.

Important tasks of the enterprise are observance of maintenance schedules and repair (MRO), high-quality planning and accomplishment of a MRO, minimization of unplanned equipment downtimes, timely providing a MRO with resources, accounting of economic indicators of a MRO. For the purpose of information support in the solution of these tasks, the RUSCAN company in November, 2006 purchased the TRIM-PMS software product.

The program and methodical TRIM-PMS complex is developed by NPP Spectec company on the basis of opportunities of EAM/MRO system of TRIM (www.trim.ru). The sector of the market on which the product is initially focused it is economic implementations of information management systems of a MRO (MRO ISU) at the enterprises with rather small repair (service) services. The TRIM-PMS complex provides the fixed feature set, settings and tools of the analysis (a "boxed" product) allowing to support standard processes of a MRO at such enterprise. The structure of the solution includes modules" TRIM Maintenance"," a TRIM Warehouse"," the TRIM Directory"," TRIM Document flow"," the TRIM Administrator".

The product TRIM-PMS was delivered to closed joint stock company" RUSCAN" for independent implementation, on three users. For the expired time means of TRIM-PMS at the enterprise carried out certification of the capital production equipment with creation of the corresponding database, directories of spare parts are filled. Users of a system mastered the MRO ISU basic functions, such as maintaining directories and reference books on the equipment, planning of scheduled works on a MRO, maintaining magazines of works, transactions with spare parts and warehouse documents, accounting of execution of works and the reporting.

Existence of real need for ISU of a MRO defined system perspective at the plant – its use not only did not stop, but also will be expanded. In October, 2010 NPP Spectec under the agreement from closed joint stock company" RUSCAN" carried out work on transfer of an information system to the platform of the full-scale solution" TRIM Technical management" – the software package TRIM of the current version 3.8.5 is delivered to the customer, converting of the saved-up database in a new system is executed, it is instructed users, balancing and commissioning is performed. The number of users in the updated system is increased to five. Modules" TRIM Maintenance" and" a TRIM Warehouse" are delivered in advanced functionality. Besides, applied modules which were not in a system earlier –" TRIM Supply"," TRIM Personnel"," the TRIM Budget"," the TRIM Dispatching magazine" entered the MRO ISU configuration.
