Mordovenergosbyt automates processes based on Directum

The largest power supply company of Mordovia – JSC Mordovenergosbyt – started system implementation of electronic document management and interaction management of DIRECTUM. According to the results of the project in a system all main divisions of the company will work. Works on implementation are carried out by the partner of DIRECTUM, Sovremennye tekhnologii Ltd.

The geographically distributed structure of the enterprise and a large number of consumers of the electric power determine importance of effective interaction of employees by all republic during the course of performance by them basic functions. Process optimization of interaction of departments and services is considered by the management of JSC Mordovenergosbyt as one of the main resources of improving competitiveness of the enterprise. For this reason the decision on need of the choice of an information system for automation of key business processes and the directions of interaction of the enterprise was made.

The choice of the solution was performed among the domestic and foreign systems, on the basis of materials of the presentations and also during test operation of demoversions. Special attention was paid to the possibility of use DBMS MS SQL Server which is already functioning in the company and also existence of specific business solutions based on a system. As a result the management of JSC Mordovenergosbyt selected the electronic document management system and interaction managements of DIRECTUM corresponding to all specified criteria. As the supplier of the solution the Modern Technologies company, the certified partner of DIRECTUM was selected.

The implementation project started in August, 2010, all heads of divisions of the company were a part of the working group. Project tasks became transfer to an electronic form of organizational and administrative documents (orders, office and reports), outgoing and incoming correspondence and also automation of a contracted work. Solving of tasks is based on functionality of the Basic modules DIRECTUM, modules Office and Contract management.

Project completion of implementation is planned for the end of 2010. As a result of implementation in a system 50 users, including, the staff of interdistrict departments of the company will work at the same time. Further development of a system will be connected with a scope of new business processes and also integration of DIRECTUM into solutions based on the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform. In particular, in the near future it is going to implement business solution for work with financial documentation – "DIRECTUM: Financial archive".
